It’s not about everyone looking at the camera. It’s the way they hold your hand without thinking, the way you reach in to fix their hair, the tiny fingers and the soft giggles. The quiet, in-between moments. That’s what we keep.

What’s included

Every family session is unhurried and led by connection, not posing. You’ll come away with images that feel like your family, not a performance of it.

  • I want to capture the way your children look at you, the love in your partner’s eyes and the way you are together. Come and be together and enjoy a fun evening as a family, and I will capture that, the real you, in this season.

  • All packages include a selection of high resolution artistically edited digital images of your choice, plus a set of 5x7 prints to keep.

  • I'll guide you through the whole session, so you can stop thinking about the camera and just be with your family - even if being photographed isn't usually your thing.

  • Your gallery arrives privately, a few weeks after your session - so you can take your time reliving it together and choosing the images that feel most like you.

Any package can include an heirloom short film, two to four minutes long, set to a licensed song and ready to download.

There’s just something about a film that holds all the feelings and subtleties in a way photographs alone can’t. The sound of their laugh. The way they move. The bits you’d otherwise forget.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Family session questions

  • Most sessions run for around an hour, sometimes a little more. There's no strict schedule - if the kids need a moment, we take it. The aim is always for everyone to settle in, relax and eventually forget the camera's even there. That's usually when the best images happen.

  • I work across the Hibiscus Coast and wider Auckland, on location or in your home. Auckland's east and west coast beaches are where I love to shoot most - the variety we have access to here is something pretty special.

  • It depends on the package you choose. Every package includes a selection of high resolution, artistically edited digital images of your choice, along with a set of 5x7 prints.

  • Once you book, you'll receive a styling guide - and we'll connect over Zoom before your session so I can support you with it properly. Wardrobe has a bigger impact on the overall feel of a gallery than most people realise, and I love helping families pull it together in a way that feels intentional without losing sight of who they actually are.

  • Yes. Any package can include a two to four minute heirloom film, set to a licensed song and ready to download.

  • Aim for at least a month ahead if you can, particularly for summer and autumn sessions when the golden hour evenings are at their best and tend to fill quickly. That said, always reach out - I can sometimes fit more in than my calendar suggests.
