Meet your mentor
Hi, I’m Megan
I'm a family photographer and educator based on Auckland's Hibiscus Coast. For ten years I've been building a business around connection-led photography - learning, often the hard way, what actually moves the work forward and what doesn't.
Chasing Connections is built from that experience. The pivotal pieces, the things I genuinely wish someone had shown me earlier - and nothing that doesn't need to be there.

Four pre-recorded modules, released every two weeks so there's time to absorb and apply each one. Alongside that, four live 1.5-hour Q&A Zoom calls - one at the end of each module.

Most students set aside a few hours a week to watch the content, plus the live call, plus implementation time. Everything is self-paced and recorded, so it fits around real life.

All calls are recorded and added to your portal within your six months of access - so you can catch up whenever suits you.

The editing module is applicable to any editing software, but you will need Lightroom Classic if you'd like to use the presets, masks and brushes.

I'm a self-confessed gear minimalist - because this programme is about approach, connection and process, not what's in your bag. Any camera system will work, and I'll help you with settings along the way. The focus is on how you see, how you connect and how you work.
